Terms of Service
When a customer asks for and therefore commits to a specialist appointment at The Seneca Clinic by Psychpartners, then their acceptance of these Terms of Service and all fees for the service is implied.
Please read these terms to understand this commitment and the limits of specialist services offered herein, and feel free to ask any questions.
The Seneca Clinic’s specialists and clinicians always endeavour to keep to booked appointments, or telephone, online consultations or meeting times.
All care is taken to ensure delays and cancellations are avoided, and we apologise these rarely do occur.
For prompt and timely service please:
- submit all relevant information to your appointment well in advance (your referral and relevant personal information, history or treatment records, results and reports etc)
- clarify in advance the preferred web-based audio-visual platform for online ‘virtual consultations’, and to confirm the appointment time. An invitation link is then routinely sent to the client’s email address about 5-10 minutes before your appointment.
- arrive at The Seneca Clinic at least 10 minutes before your designated appointment time.
Fees and service obligation
Acceptance of a scheduled appointment implies the specialist is booked to provide their service, and the client is liable for payment of the indicated fees.
Payment is sought prior to or at the time of the consultation. We reserve the right with sole discretion to invoice clients for fees. Clients must agree to pay any invoice we issue within 14 days after receipt.
Cancellation of appointments will be considered about the timing of cancellation and circumstances. Timely advice of cancellation is sought so others may take up available appointment opportunities.
In general terms, an appointment cancelled within 24 hours of it’s booked time will be charged at half price.
Failing to present for your scheduled appointment, virtual consultation or agreed to meeting will lead to fees being charged at full price.
Clinic environment
The Seneca Clinic is a peaceful place of care and recovery.
Patience, communication and reasonable behaviour is expected from all our clients and their supports. At no time will threatening behaviour be tolerated, and if so, the assistance of either Police and /or crisis services may be accessed without hesitation.
Clinicians are not obliged to provide any service, treatment or ongoing follow up if they deem it not to be in a client’s or overall interest.

All information (including a client’s referral, medical and treatment history and other relevant records) provided to The Seneca Clinic in connection with the specialist services will be assumed to be true and complete.
