Clinical Psychologist

Avneesh is a registered Clinical Psychologist with both the New Zealand Psychologists Board and the Rehabilitation Council of India. He is also a member of the New Zealand Psychologic al Society and a Life Member of the Indian Association of Clinical Psychologists. With over seven years of experience working with adults (18–60 years), he offers a warm, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and can safely explore their concerns.

At the core of his practice is the development of a trusting therapeutic relationship. Avneesh works in an integrative, eclectic style, drawing from a range of evidence-based approaches including CBT, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), EMDR, Compassion-Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic frameworks. His approach is tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual.

In therapy sessions, clients are supported to engage in meaningful self-reflection, explore their thoughts and emotions more deeply, and gain insight into patterns of thinking and behaviour. Avneesh helps individuals identify and challenge unhelpful ways of being while guiding them toward healthier, more adaptive perspectives—enabling them to live rich, authentic, and fulfilling lives.
